 The
VR 320 has a record capacity up to 48 channels. It is also
available with a single or dual archive drive Dual drives
are better for public safety, when one drive is full, then
it can automatically begin archiving on the other drive. It
has the ability to simultaneously monitor 4 channels. This
recorder also permits remote access over an Ethernet LAN or
serial connection. For more information on these options please
click their respective buttons below. This recorder is rack
mountable in a standard 19" rack, and takes up 3 U of
vertical space. The VR320 is an independent recorder, no PC
is needed to run the recorder. It is completely stand-alone.
This recorder comes with a hard drive for buffering, and instant
recall of data. the hard drives are full upgradeable to larger
densities. The VR 320 is field upgradeable, by means of the
record cards, which come in increments of 8 channels. There
is a time and date stamp with all recordings, and a feature
which permits recording of the time stamp even during dead
air times. Searching is done by channel, time/date, next message,
and more. The operating system is upgradeable by software
contained on media, and is stored in the ROM. Data, such as
a fax, or telemetry may also be recorded. Status lights are
present on the front panel of the recorder, with the option
for a remote light\tone for select, full, record, clean, and
fault. Auto record function available, setting start and stop
times for the recorder (i.e. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F) History
and error logs also are maintained in the memory. There are
80 different passwords available, all fully customizeable
for functions, and down to the individual channels permitted
