The Eventide VR 204 records 4 channels. It comes with a single DDS-2 or DDS-3 archive drive. This recorder can be used as a desktop unit or is rack mountable in a standard 19" rack. The operating system is upgradeable by software contained on media, and is stored in the ROM. Data, such as a fax, or telemetry may also be recorded.
