RADAR Calibration & Repair
On-site calibration is available to minimize officer impact, keeping your equipment and man power on the street, where it belongs.
Calibration is achieved by microwave frequency alignment and checking transmit and receive power. This process requires thousands of dollars worth of test equipment and training that we possess.
The NHTSA recommends yearly calibration for traffic RADARs according to performance standards for Speed Measuring Devices, United States Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Federal, Vol. 46, num. 5, January 8, 1981.
Certified RADARS receive certificate of Calibration and decal indicating calibration and due date.
